Knights of Columbus
Hispanic Council 14131
Knights of Columbus is a Religious Organization founded by Father Michael J. McGivney back in 1882 in New Heaven Connecticut to protect widows and orphans in his community and to protect families during a time when Jews and Catholics were denigrated.
These days, we are almost 3 million members around the globe and we still keep the same objective to protect widows and orphans by the time we promote Charity, Unity and Fraternity for our members, parishioners, families and community through programs that promote God’s love and brotherhood always following our pastor and communities needs.
We are always open to new men interested in joining the order to help others and also to grow in personal faith. Please consider joining our brotherhood and get ready to meet brothers with similar interests, passions and enthusiasm for putting faith into action for our community. Pope Francis has called all people of good will to, "go out to others, seek those who have fallen away, stand at the crossroads, and welcome the outcast." (Evangelii Gaudium, 24).
We meet every second Sunday of the month after Spanish mass 1:30 p.m.
For more information, please contact our Grand Knight Higinio Cepeda at 563.529.6435 or by e-mail [email protected]
