First Communion
Second Grade First Communion
The Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion take place in second grade. First Reconciliation is usually held during Lent and First Communion either late April or May. In order to receive both Sacraments the children need to be Baptized. If your child has not received the Sacrament of Baptism they will need to go through Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC). Children must receive both of these Sacraments in order to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 8th Grade.
