Liturgical dance group

Picture
Liturgical dance is a way of expressing spiritual joy and love for God. The Pope invites us to look for new methods of Evangelization.  Dance is one way.  Through dance we can tell Biblical stories, express message of repentance and pain for failing God, or happiness and joy for following Jesus.

This is how our group of liturgical dance began, to worship God on Pentecost in 2018.  After the Holy Pope's call to seek new methods of evangelization and include young people, the liturgical dance began to evolve. Liturgical dance carries a message of hope and invites those who see us to have a closer relationship with God; and, above all, to remind them that God is always by our side in every movement. God is just waiting for you to invite him into your life.

The children of the liturgical dance program are active members of their parishes.  At their young age, they understand the importance of Evangelization and are motivated to move forward with this call. They have participated in large events where they have danced for upwards of 900 people in a spiritual retreat organized by the Diocese of Davenport.  They have also danced in small events at several local churches around Iowa and convents.
